Policy Statement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Modern slavery is a heinous crime and a gross violation of human rights. It includes slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking. The UK Implementation Society adopts a&nbsp;<strong>zero-tolerance approach<\/strong>&nbsp;to modern slavery and is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our operations and relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are dedicated to ensuring transparency across our organisation and supply chains, in line with our obligations under the&nbsp;<strong>Modern Slavery Act 2015<\/strong>. We expect the same high standards from all our partners, contractors, and suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Scope<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This policy applies to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All employees, volunteers, trustees, and contractors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All third-party representatives and business partners acting on our behalf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Our Commitments<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implement and enforce effective systems and controls to prevent modern slavery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct due diligence on suppliers and partners to ensure compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include anti-slavery clauses in contracts and procurement processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide training and awareness to staff on identifying and reporting concerns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain a safe and open culture where concerns can be raised confidentially.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Board of Trustees<\/strong>: Overall accountability for policy implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Senior Leadership Team<\/strong>: Operational oversight and risk management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>All Staff and Volunteers<\/strong>: Duty to report concerns and uphold ethical standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Reporting and Whistleblowing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Any suspicion or evidence of modern slavery must be reported immediately to a line manager or via our&nbsp;<strong>Whistleblowing Policy<\/strong>. All reports will be treated seriously and investigated promptly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assess risks in our operations and supply chains.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor high-risk areas such as outsourced services and recruitment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review supplier compliance annually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Training<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We will provide regular training to ensure staff understand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What modern slavery is.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How to identify signs of exploitation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How to report concerns safely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8.
